Having moved from Europe to North America, one of the things I miss the most here is the song of the European blackbird. What I got is the red-winged blackbird. Nice-looking fella - but what ornithologists kindly call his "song" sounds more like a scratchy, ear-piercing noise to me. However, with the wintry surroundings having become all quiet, I feel how I miss that still-new-to-me summer night's soundscape with the redwing's distinctive scream.

mein plan ist es gar nicht mehr aufzustehen in 2012, habe aber schon wieder selbst gegen die selbsternannte regel verstossen.
gerne hätte ich dich auch im feature gesehen, war aber nix nix id-mässiges zu finden

ID-mäßig bin ich eher schüchtern veranlagt. Vielleicht begegne ich ja demnächst mal einem Selbstbildnis in einem stilvoll hochglanzpolierten Espressokocher
